Distribution of Seats for Admission in Swedish Institute of Technology Gujrat

Admissions are made only on merit base in SPIT Gujrat. Very strict rules and regulations are followed in admissions. Quota for players on sports base has been terminated. However 20 extra marks are granted to Hafiz-e-Quran. And 1% extra seats are allocated to special/ disabled persons.

Distribution of seats for acquiring admission is as under:

• Punjab Province (including Gujranawala Division) 25%
• Gujranawala Division (including Gujrat)    55%
• Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, FATA and FANA 3%
• Children of Employees of the Pakistan Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Forces) 2%
• Children of the working/retired/deceased employees of TEVTA 5%
• Other Provinces (based on mutual Migration policy)      5%
• Certificate holders of Government Technical Training Institutes/Centers equivalent to Matric Science 5%
• Disabled Candidates (Extra Seats) 1%
